15.) Mega Man 3

Mega Man kicks ass. The formula is a simple one, but it's a good one. Run and jump as you kill everything. Beat the boss, and then take his weapon. Repeat. But anybody who has ever played it knows that this seemingly simple formula is awesome. And Mega Man 3 is the most refined version of said formula. It has some of the best robot masters like Shadow Man, who is, ya know, a Ninja. Honestly, there isn't really much more to say. It's fun. Play it and mourn the lack of good Mega Man games these days.

14.) Psychonauts

This game is bitchin. And I'm pretty sure you didn't play it. You jerk. This game just has so much charm and fun that I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't like it. You are Raz, an acrobat who ends up at a summer camp for physics. You travel around inside people's minds and fix their neurosis, all in an attempt to stop an evil dentist from ripping people's brains out. Each mind reflects the person's mind, be it the conspiracy buff who see the world as a twisted suburban landscape with Men in Black everywhere or the mind of a fish where you are a giant monster battling another giant monster as the little fish of the city look on in awe. Yeah, so you should play this. It's on Steam, so it's not like you can't get it.

13.) Ultima Underworld 2

The Ultima series is perhaps one of the most overrated series of games ever made. But that is a discussion for another time. But Ultima Underworld 2 is oft overlooked, yet is hands down the best Ultima game ever, most likely 'cause Richard "Lord British" Garriot didn't develop it. No, the legendary Looking Glass studios made it. These are the guys who would latter go on and make most of the other games on this list in one way or another. But back to Ultima Underworld 2. You are The Avatar. You are trapped inside Castle British by the evil Guardian, and must travel from world to world, foiling The Guardian's plans and finding a way to escape. With an awesome story, a plot that doesn't just move from point A to point B, great characters, and all of the great things about Ultima Underworld 1's engine (RPG meets FPS, with a more or less classless system) with an actual story this time around. Play it.

12.) Castelvania 3

Let's see what the critics have to say?

"You get to share a body with Alucard and the soundtrack is sexorz. Just as merciless as #1, and longer to boot. Multiple paths for the win."
-Mild Guy

"Castlevania III is complete sex."
-Polly

"This one kicks ass."
-LOTR_Dan

"C3: Sex"
-Spyda

11.) Freedom Force

Everybody likes superheroes, right? This Strategy/RPG is simply one of the best superhero games out there. Once again, Irrational Games provides incredible atmosphere, with the original characters all looking like the just out of some Jack Kirby comic you just never read. The Minuteman and El Diablo face down the likes of the evil Soviet ice monster Nuclear Winter and Time Master, the master of time. The voice work is great, it has to be for you to be able to hear the line "Behold the awesome power of ENERGY X!" and not burst out laughing. Not only is the campaign some of the best superhero action you will ever see, the modding tools yet you make any superhero you want and the fan community has produced countless great mods. It's every superhero fan's dream come true.
