Sockscast Game of the Year 2026 Submission Season is Here!

The most wonderful time of the year approaches once again! The Sockscast Game of the Year spectacular is now officially ready to go and we want all of your listener lists. Fatten us up real good with your words about videogames!
It's very easy to do, the rules are the same save one minor change this year, so please be sure to read the 2nd point thoroughly!
1. Pick yourself three games you liked this year. They don't have to have been released this year! If you played it this year and enjoyed it then it's fair game. On your list it goes!
2. Write a small blurb about each game, making sure that the total word count of your blurbs come in at around 500 words. A few sentences should be good, but let's not write entire IGN reviews here okay? We know that 500 words sounds restrictive, but most lists come in at or under that number. If you need a quick and easy word counter, just plug your blurbs into this site and you'll be good.
3. Email your submission to podcast [at-sign] socksmakepeoplesexy.net BY THE END OF DECEMBER 4TH. We'll be recording the Game of the Year episodes on around midday December 5th and 6th, so this is pretty easy to understand. You might have a little leeway if you're in after the deadline, but don't take your chances, because once the shows are recording, we're locked in!
4. For those of you who would like to read your own lists, the same rules as above apply, minus the 500 word count. Three games, three blurbs, read it out, sing it out, whatever you wanna do, however you want! Keep it at under or around 5'ish minutes if you can! Create an .mp3 file, attach it to your email and just send it to the above email address.
It's just that easy! These things just keep getting bigger and bigger, so let's see if we can drive Rhete mad by flooding the inbox with those good, good lists!
